Graduate council Graduate Submission form

About this Project

The Graduate council submitted a request to have a system that was similar to the undergraduate council's system for submitting and updating courses, which was done on-line. Upon meeting initially with the designated members of the graduate council they reported that the undergraduate council's system worked very well and they would be happy with one just like that.

We began to interview the person who had put together that system and there were several reported problems the graduate council was unaware of. One of the issues the undergraduate council was unhappy with was formatting.

Testing done with several user showed that completing the online form was as easy as the paper form. One positive comment was the feedback regarding any missing information; this was an improvement over the paper document method. The office staff felt this would speed up the process. If this is any indication of success after the graduate council web site, and course submission form was completed the undergraduate council called and requested that their form be updated to include many of the same improvements. This was an interesting request as we started out with theirs as a prototype.
